RATCLIFF, Earl - Putnam

"Portland Mills news" -- Earl, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Len T. Ratcliff died Sunday morning of disease of the larynx producing consumption. Earl would have been 21 ears old had he lived to the 28th of February, was the youngest child of a family of 14 children, 11 of whom survive him.  He was a favorite, respected and loved by all, and died happy in the triumphs of faith in Christ, having recently joined the Union ME Church and experienced a wonderful and glorious conversion.  The funeral took place at the family residence Monday conducted by Rev. Leazenby.   ---kbz
